Why MindIt exists

MindIt grew out of the work of SimplXit, a mine water and tailings consultancy working with mines and engineering teams on uncertainty modelling, scenario-based planning and the difficult decisions that come with managing complex systems.

Again and again, we encountered the same problem. The individual pieces might be good: a detailed GoldSim model, years of monitoring data, a new mine plan, an engineering study, an experienced team. But they rarely stay connected. Plans change. People change. Models evolve. New data arrives. Before long, it becomes difficult to maintain a coherent picture of what is happening, what may happen next and what needs to be done.

MindIt began as our attempt to build a better way of working.

It provides the connective layer around an evolving mine-water system: bringing together the physical network, monitoring and operational evidence, models, possible futures and the decisions made along the way.

It is built by people who work with these systems and understand both the engineering and modelling behind them, and the practical challenge of keeping knowledge useful as a mine changes.

MindIt is now in Early Access, working hands-on with a small number of mines and consultancies. These first deployments are helping us refine the platform through real projects, real models and real decisions ahead of public release in Q3 2027.
