Mine Water Intelligence Platform
See the risks. Test the options. Know what to do.
MindIt connects your evolving mine-water system, evidence and models — so you can see when conditions change, explore what could happen next, and know what to do now, next and later.
Every decision stays connected to the evidence behind it.
Built from practice
MindIt was originally developed by the team at SimplXit, drawing on years of work in mine-water modelling, uncertainty and scenario planning.
It grew out of a recurring problem we encountered in practice: good data, good models and good people still struggle when the pieces do not stay connected as the mine changes.
MindIt is our attempt to build a better way of working.
01 · The Problem
A connective layer for a mine that never stands still
Mine water is a moving system.
Plans change. People change. Data keeps arriving. Models evolve. Projects overlap. Assumptions shift.
Yet the knowledge needed to manage that system is often split across spreadsheets, models, reports, consultants and teams. As each piece evolves separately, it becomes harder to answer basic questions:
Are we where we expected to be?
What has changed?
What does that mean for what comes next?
What should we do?
MindIt keeps those moving pieces connected around the evolving mine-water system.
02 · The Platform
One platform. Two connected workspaces.
MindIt is deployed on-premise — both workspaces run inside your own infrastructure.
MindIt Server
Web · CollaborationConnect the organisation around the system.
Build and govern the shared understanding of the mine: the physical system, monitoring, operations and compliance; the drivers that may shape its future; and the projects and options available to respond.
Teams can use those governed building blocks to compose the futures they want explored, without needing to operate the simulation model.
MindIt Companion
Desktop · ModellingConnect simulation to that shared knowledge.
Pull governed site evidence directly into GoldSim for verification, calibration and testing. Maintain versioned models with a clear record of what they can simulate, run scenario ensembles, and automatically turn large Monte Carlo outputs into decision-ready information.
Processed results return to MindIt Server, where the wider team can interrogate outcomes, compare alternatives and decide what to do next.
Server helps the organisation decide what it needs to know. Companion maintains the trusted modelling capability needed to answer it.
03 · How MindIt thinks about the future
Understand. Prepare. Navigate.
Understand
Know the system and the evidence.
See the mine-water system through time, with monitoring, operations and compliance data connected to what they describe.
Prepare
Explore what could happen before it happens.
Combine mine plans, climate and other drivers with infrastructure and operational options. Test likely futures as well as unlikely but consequential ones.
Navigate
Stay oriented as reality unfolds.
See when current conditions are moving away from expectations and understand what that may change about what comes next.
Now
What should we adjust operationally?
Next
What projects or infrastructure do we need?
Later
What risks should we be preparing for?
04 · How it works
Prepare for what's next. Navigate what's happening now.
MindIt connects evidence, modelling and decision-making in a continuous cycle. Explore difficult futures before they arrive, then track how conditions are actually evolving.
05 · The Helm
In developmentNavigate the now
The Helm is the emerging navigation layer for MindIt: bringing current conditions, expectations, modelled futures, risks and possible actions together.
Prepare before the risk arrives. Recognise when conditions change. Adjust course with evidence.
Being developed with our Early Access partners
Are we moving away from what we expected?
What does that change?
Have we already explored this future?
Do we need to adjust course?
06 · Why MindIt
Built for serious mine-water work
- On-premise by design
- Keep operational and modelling data within your infrastructure.
- GoldSim connected
- Native modelling workflows rather than manual copy-and-paste between systems.
- Versioned through time
- Networks, data, models, scenarios and decisions retain their history.
- Uncertainty first
- Built around Monte Carlo simulation, scenario ensembles and risk rather than single deterministic answers.
- Governed collaboration
- Different teams contribute to the same connected system without collapsing everything into an uncontrolled shared folder.
07 · Early Access Programme
A hands-on partnership for early adopters
We are selecting a small number of mines and consultancies to work closely with us through MindIt's first year of live deployment.
Each partnership centres on a real mine-water challenge and real decisions that need to be made. Depending on where you are starting, the engagement may include model development or integration, network and data setup, workflow coordination, scenario design, training and ongoing technical support.
You put MindIt to work on problems that matter now. We learn from real deployment and use that experience to make the platform better.
The first year of MindIt software is included as part of the Early Access engagement, and partners benefit from preferential commercial terms as the platform moves to public release.
Who Early Access is for
Early Access is for organisations that already know there is a better way to manage a mine-water system than stitching together models, spreadsheets, reports and institutional memory.
- a live mine-water challenge with real decisions ahead
- models, data, plans and teams that are becoming harder to keep aligned
- an appetite to work closely with us as MindIt is tested and refined
